Functional Capacity Evaluation
Our registered Occupational Therapists have been trained and certified in the Work Well Functional Capacity Evaluation. This is a one- or two-day standardized test, which can be job specific or tailored to meet the needs of the referral base. Current physical capabilities are identified with regard to movement, strength, manual dexterity skills and work tolerance. Standardized tests and simulated job tasks are utilized to determine employability, work condition or therapy options. Maximum Voluntary Effort Testing is a component of our Functional Capacity Evaluation. It is utilized when questionable feasibility issues arise during the testing process. Tasks/tests are given to determine the degree of consistency regarding strengths, dexterity skills and subjective symptoms.Work Conditioning
This program is a customized, goal-oriented program designed to address concerns associated with return to work options. job-related risk factors. An accurate return to work determination or recommendations for
job modifications are then formulated.
